Welcome to TravelSexLife: Why We Want to Be the First Site on Your Reading List

At TravelSexLife we believe that sexual experiences abroad are just as valid part of travel as is volunteering, working abroad or sight-seeing. Whether we admit or not, sex is all around us. If hopping on a plane, crossing a border or sailing an ocean doesn’t avoid it as a subject, why then should we?

As dedicated fans of global travel we want to share this part of the experience with you. We want to celebrate the brilliant diversity of the world and highlight the wide spectrum of cultures and attitudes there are towards sex.

We don’t want to bury our heads in the sand and pretend that it doesn’t happen in the countries we visit or that we’re simply not interested. Instead, we want to be frank and we want to be honest. We want to help show you that, for some countries, these practices, no matter how incomprehensible they appear to us, are a normal part of a healthy culture and society.

We hope, through such discussion, that you become better educated about the places you visit as a result. We hope that you’ll use the information we provide to make your own decisions about what’s right and wrong, moral or immoral. We strive to be an authority, but not one that is so over-powering that we strip you of the power of your own choice.

That’s why we need TravelSexLife to be as diverse and open as possible. We don’t want to insist that the “Western way” is the normal way. Nor that males, heterosexuals, or whoever else for that matter, has more of a right to express themselves and project their opinions than anyone else. We encourage your involvement, your opinions and, most of all, your voice.

With that we can be the travel and lifestyle site that does things a little differently. We can be the site that isn’t inhibited by our own personal vanity, nor the fear of upsetting those close to us. We can be one of the very few sites out there that is 100% honest, 100% informative and 100% impartial.

We hope that you get the message and that you enjoy reading us. If you do, we’d love to consider you a regular reader.

After all, it’s your responsibility as a traveller to educate yourself on every aspect of your travel destination.

We’ll be sharing round-the-world travel sex information, interviews with travellers, case studies and how-to articles on every region in the world.
